Volleyball Recap: Catholic Central Takes a Loss

Catholic Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Greenon Knights, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Irish of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

Catholic Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Greenon, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Catholic Central will welcome Shawnee at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Greenon, they will challenge Tecumseh at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
