Soccer Recap: Overhills Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Overhills lost against Hoke County back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Jaguars came up short against the Bucks, falling 5-2. While losing is never fun, Overhills can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 434th, while Hoke County are ranked 206th).

Erik Galindo-Ortega and Sean Lackey scored both of Overhills' goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Overhills and nudges their season record down to 2-6. As for Hoke County, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2-3.
