Parry McCluer came into Tuesday's contest having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with an 11-6 victory over the Eastern Montgomery Mustangs on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Fighting Blues considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-11. As for Eastern Montgomery, they moved to 10-3-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parry McCluer will head out to face off against Nelson County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Eastern Montgomery, they will venture away from home to take on Narrows at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Green Waves' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
