Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hurley). Everything went their way against the South Shore Cardinals on Thursday as they made off with a 16-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Northstars in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won nine in a row.

Hurley's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for South Shore, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hurley is set to take on their familiar foe Drummond at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, South Shore will square off against rival Mellen at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
