The Calhan Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 73-19 loss at the hands of Byers. Calhan has struggled against Byers recently, as their match on Wednesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Byers' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Quincy Eacret led the charge by scoring 11 points. Zach Cary was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.

Calhan's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Byers, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
