Joyner made his presence known in Eastern's 66-61 defeat
Eastern lost despite Isyah Joyner and the season-high 30 points he dropped on the Bulldogs. He's been particularly strong when it comes to points, as the matchup was his fourth straight with 16 or more. This season, Joyner has averaged 19.5 points and 6.9 rebounds per contest.
Joyner and Eastern will be playing in front of their home fans against the Roughriders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Joyner hasn't had any trouble running up the score (he's averaged 19.5 per game this season), but it's looking like he'll have his work cut out for him against Roosevelt's dominant defense.
