Softball Recap: East Duplin Triumphs

The East Duplin Panthers beat the Rosewood Eagles 7-2 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Kinsey Cave was incredible, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March of 2024. Karsyn Parker was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

East Duplin's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Rosewood, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-3.

East Duplin will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Southwest Onslow at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th. Rosewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
