Volleyball Recap: Rossview Wins Going Away Against Springfield

Rossview won the last time they faced Springfield and things went their way on Thursday too. The Hawks put the hurt on the Yellow Jackets with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hawks.

Rossview never let Springfield on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-23, 25-19.

Rossview had a senior duo take command as Rylee Tomsic had four digs and three aces and Malaya Snowwhite had 14 digs and two assists. Snowwhite has been hot, having posted 14 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Rossview's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Springfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Rossview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Springfield, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pope John Paul II at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
