Softball Recap: Morrice Orioles vs. Caro Tigers
Morrice had lost ten straight at home dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 2-9 to make it 11. They lost 22-0 to the Caro Tigers. Having soared to a lofty 27 runs in the game before, the Orioles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
As for Caro, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-11. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
For Caro's part, Brooklyn Osborn was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. Osborn was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, four RBI, and one triple. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.
