Burley faced Mountain Home in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Bobcats were the clear victors by a 16-4 margin over the Tigers. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Jacoby Roe was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mack Haynes, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

Burley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .615. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Burley's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Mountain Home, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 14-7 record.
