Baseball Game Preview: Iowa-Grant Panthers vs. Fennimore Golden Eagles

Iowa-Grant hasn't had much luck against Fennimore recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Golden Eagles at 4:30 p.m.

On Friday, Iowa-Grant came up short against Riverdale and fell 9-4.

Meanwhile, while Fennimore put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Cuba City. The Golden Eagles skirted past the Cubans 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Golden Eagles have posted against the Cubans since May 11, 2021.

Not much got past Tyson Starkey, who gave up just two hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Cuba City off the board.

On the hitting side, Corey Dresen was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Iowa-Grant couldn't quite get it done against Fennimore in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 8-3. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
