Soccer Game Preview: Goochland vs. Charlottesville

Goochland is 0-7 against Charlottesville since April of 2022 but things could change on Monday. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Black Knights at 7:30 p.m.

Goochland came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 4-0 to Monticello.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous four contest, Charlottesville brought some dynamite into their most recent game. Their defense stepped up to hand Fluvanna County a 4-0 shutout on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for Charlottesville as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

The victory got Charlottesville back to even at 5-5-1. As for Goochland, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
