Basketball Recap: Bellefonte Takes a Loss

Bellefonte lost against Central back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bellefonte Raiders took a 59-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Dragons. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 478th, while the Dragons are ranked 93rd).

Bellefonte's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Looking ahead, Bellefonte won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Bishop Guilfoyle at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central, they will take on Bedford at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
