Football Recap: Rosewood Eagles vs. Midway Raiders

After soaring to 40 points the game before, Rosewood was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They lost 27-7 to the Midway Raiders. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Rosewood lost, don't look at Bryson Hobbs. Despite the final result, he rushed for 112 yards and one score. Hobbs also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making seven total tackles and defending one pass.

It was another big night for Tanner Williams, who threw for 255 yards and three TDs on only 18 passes, and also rushed for 46 yards and one touchdown for Midway. That's the most passing touchdowns Williams has posted since back in August. Jacob Holland also helped out as he racked up 100 receiving yards.

Rosewood's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Midway, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.
