Softball Recap: Bluffton Tigers vs. Adams Central Flying Jets

Bluffton hadn't done well against Adams Central recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Flying Jets 6-5. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Madyson Sonnigsen was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. Sonnigsen was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024.
