Basketball Recap: Paducah Comes Up Short

Paducah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost to the Motley County Matadors on the road by a 44-28 margin. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Matadors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-34 back in January.

Elizabeth Morales was nothing short of spectacular for Motley County: she posted 20 points and five steals. Motley County is 2-1 when Morales posts three or more steals, but 11-17 otherwise. Kyra Rose was another key player, putting up seven points and five rebounds.

Paducah's defeat dropped their record down to 3-25. As for Motley County, their win bumped their record up to 13-18.

Paducah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Motley County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-46 loss against McLean on the 7th.
