Recap: Panama Panthers vs. Frewsburg Bears
The Panama Panthers were the 56-47 winner over the Frewsburg Bears when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Panama took a serious blow against Frewsburg on Monday, falling 68-22. Panama was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-8.
Frewsburg found their leader in underclassman Jadyn Trocki, who scored 21 points along with 8 steals and 6 assists. That makes it two consecutive games in which Trocki has scored at least 25% of Frewsburg's points. Ava Jimerson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Panama and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Frewsburg, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Panama will challenge Westfield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Frewsburg's road trip will continue as they head out to face Lancaster at 6:30 p.m. on December 12th.
