Grand Ledge won the last time they faced East Lansing and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Comets put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Comets.

Grand Ledge's got stronger as the match went on, holding East Lansing to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15, 25-12.

Allison Scanlon paced Grand Ledge's offense, picking up 11 kills. Scanlon got some help from Addison Cornman and her 19 assists. Faith Brown controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Despite the loss, East Lansing still got an impressive performance from Stella Dimaggio, who had nine digs and three assists.

Grand Ledge's victory bumped their record up to 19-15-2. As for East Lansing, they moved to 20-16-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Coming up, Grand Ledge will take on Eastern at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. East Lansing does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
