Baseball Game Preview: West Seneca East Trojans vs. Sweet Home Panthers

For the second straight game, West Seneca East will face off against Sweet Home. The Trojans will head out on the road to take on the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Sweet Home hit West Seneca East with a four-run fifth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Trojans fell 6-2 to the Panthers.

For Sweet Home's part, Jacob Brand was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. That stolen base marked the first that Brand has snagged this season. Rocco Panepinto was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Sweet Home's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2-1. As for West Seneca East, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
