Volleyball Recap: Mountain House Finds Playoff Glory Versus Granite Bay

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mountain House had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Granite Bay Grizzlies.

While Mountain House won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 25-21.

Mountain House is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season. As for Granite Bay, they dropped their record down to 18-16 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Mountain House will challenge Oak Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Granite Bay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
