Mankato West is 9-1 against St. Peter since August of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Scarlets will look to defend their home pitch against the Saints at 7:00 p.m. Mankato West's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Mankato West turned things around against Winona on Thursday. They and the Winhawks finished up their match with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, St. Peter fell victim to New Ulm and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

St. Peter's loss dropped their record down to 8-3-1. Mankato West's draw gives them a new season record of 3-6-4.

Mankato West took their victory against St. Peter in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 4-0 score. Will the Scarlets repeat their success, or do the Saints have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
