Football Recap: Richland Takes a Loss

The matchup between Richland and Hatton/Northwood on Friday hardly resembled the 15-12 effort from their previous meeting. The Colts were outmatched by the Thunder and fell 64-16. The Colts were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Thunder apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

Richland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Hatton/Northwood, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Richland will square off against rival LaMoure/Litchville-Marion on Friday. Meanwhile, Hatton/Northwood is set to face off against their familiar foe Enderlin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
