Basketball Recap: El Dorado Springs Takes a Loss

El Dorado Springs was the 46-34 winner over Clinton when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The El Dorado Springs Bulldogs took a 55-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clinton Cardinals. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 469th, while the Cardinals are ranked 202nd).

El Dorado Springs has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season. As for Clinton, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Coming up, El Dorado Springs will look to defend their home court on Friday against Conway at 6:00 p.m. Clinton has already played their next game (against Lafayette County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
