Football Recap: Meek Skates Past Carbon Hill with Ease + How To Watch

Meek entered their tilt with Carbon Hill on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Bulldogs, posting a 34-6 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Leading Meek to victory were Evan McCay and Hunter Wyatt. McCay rushed for 69 yards and three touchdowns, while Wyatt rushed for 114 yards and one score. What's more, McCay racked up 135.4 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.

Meek didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Carbon Hill to a completion percentage of just 34.6%. The Tigers weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 62.5%.

Meek's record is now 7-3. As for Carbon Hill, their loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Coming up, Meek will challenge Woodville at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. The Tigers will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.6 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Carbon Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
