Volleyball Recap: Wright Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Wright lost against Tongue River back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Panthers have suffered against the Eagles since October 30, 2021.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18, 25-10.

Jocelyn Umiker paced Wright's offense, picking up nine kills. Umiker got some help from Arianna Baham and her 13 assists.

Wright is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-13. As for Tongue River, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Wright is set to take on their familiar foe Big Horn at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Tongue River will square off against rival Sundance at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
