Soccer Recap: Howell North Takes a Loss

Howell North's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fort Zumwalt East Lions. Howell North were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Fort Zumwalt East earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Howell North's goal came courtesy of Morgan Smith, who's now up to two this season.

Howell North's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-1. As for Fort Zumwalt East, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season.

Howell North will square off against St. Charles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fort Zumwalt East, they will take on Holt at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fort Zumwalt East are facing Holt at the right time seeing as Holt are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
