Norwood won the last time they faced Sargent and things went their way on Friday too. The Mavericks blew past the Farmers 58-12. Considering the Mavericks have won four matchups by more than 29 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Norwood didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Owen Tackett, Holten McCluer, and Porter Black picked up one apiece. Tackett also rushed for 122 rushing yards, which is notable because Norwood is undefeated when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise. McCluer got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Norwood has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.5 points over those games. As for Sargent, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
