Softball Recap: Pigeon Forge Comes Up Short

Pigeon Forge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 12-1 to the Jellico Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 23-5 back in March.

Pigeon Forge's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Jellico, the victory snapped their losing streak at eight games and leaves them with a 6-14 record.

Coincidentally, Pigeon Forge and Jellico will both be playing Oneida the next time they take the field. The Blue Devils will host the Indians at 7:05 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
