Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Manitowoc Lutheran

Manitowoc Lutheran had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Notre Dame Academy Tritons by a score of 2-0.

Manitowoc Lutheran not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Notre Dame Academy between 16 and 17 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17.

Manitowoc Lutheran can attribute much of their success to Morgan Jost, who had six digs and two aces. That's the most digs Jost has posted since back in November of 2024.

Jost wasn't the only good server: Manitowoc Lutheran was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in three consecutive games.

Manitowoc Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Notre Dame Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-6 record.

Manitowoc Lutheran has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Sheboygan Falls on the 30th. As for Notre Dame Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Luxemburg-Casco on the 6th.
