Basketball Game Preview: Skyview Storm vs. Camas Papermakers

The Skyview Storm are taking a road trip to challenge the Camas Papermakers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Friday, Skyview made easy work of Battle Ground and carried off a 72-52 victory. Given the Storm's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 57th, while the Tigers are ranked 270th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Camas waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Titans by a score of 60-48.

Camas' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.8 points per game. As for Skyview, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Skyview beat Camas 58-45 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Will Skyview repeat their success, or does Camas have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
