Basketball Recap: Whitewater Comes Up Short

Whitewater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They came up short against the Spalding Jaguars, falling 61-40.

Whitewater's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Spalding, their victory bumped their record up to 2-11.

Whitewater has already played their next contest, a 54-17 defeat against LaGrange on the 4th. As for Spalding, they will face off against Upson-Lee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Upson-Lee has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
