Volleyball Recap: Brainerd Comes Up Short

Brainerd was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21.

Paige Skoglund paced Brainerd's offense, picking up five kills. Skoglund got some help from Bella Goggleye and her 11 assists. Addison Herriges controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Brainerd's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, their win bumped their record up to 8-6-1.

Brainerd wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Apollo on the 7th. As for Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against B O L D on the 6th.
