Basketball Recap: Marlington Takes a Loss

Marlington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Canfield Cardinals, falling 74-44. The match marked the Dukes' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Marlington's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Canfield, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marlington will take on Poland Seminary in a holiday battle at at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Canfield, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on East Liverpool at 7:00 p.m. on December 27th.
