Caseville was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after a bye. The Eagles came in at 25 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.
Peck added to the longest winning streak in North Central Thumb (8 Man) this week by beating Kingston, 52-28. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Nick Pagel was a passing and rushing force as Deckerville fell to Lawrence. He completed 3 passes for 19 yards and also ran for 194 yards.
Pagel was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 194 yards on 35 carries as the Eagles defeated Cardinal Mooney Catholic. Danny Wolfe also contributed to the rushing game with 83 yards on the ground.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Carsonville-Port Sanilac and Peck. The Tigers enters the contest ranked 10th in the state, while Rob McDaniel's team ranks third.
The league will see a high scoring game when Deckerville and the Warriors face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Bill Brown's team comes in having scored 38 this season, while North Huron has scored 160. The Eagles scored 38 points last week as they lost to the Tigers.
