Baseball Recap: Teaneck Takes a Loss

Teaneck lost against Bergenfield on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Highwaymen lost 14-3 to the Bears. The Highwaymen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Deyton Walcott was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those doubles were his first of the season.

Teaneck's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Bergenfield, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Teaneck will take on Bergen Catholic at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Bergenfield, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against North Bergen at 11:00 a.m.
