Salem didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Mull and Ethan Campbell. The dominant performance gave Mull a new career-high in rushing yards.

West Washington's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5. As for Salem, their record is now an identical 3-5.
