After a string of three wins, Coopersville's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (7-4), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Coopersville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Timmons, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. Another was Ethan Umlor, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

Coopersville's loss dropped their record down to 18-3-1. As for Covenant Christian, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-16.

Coming up, Coopersville will welcome NorthPointe Christian at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Covenant Christian, they are taking a road trip to square off against Saranac at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
