Basketball Game Preview: Pleasant Home Eagles vs. Florala Wildcats

Pleasant Home hasn't had much luck against Florala recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Pleasant Home Eagles will welcome the Florala Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Pleasant Home is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

Pleasant Home is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Emmanuel Christian to the tune of 55-11 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Meanwhile, Florala was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were outmatched by Paxton and fell 57-10. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Pleasant Home's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-5. As for Florala, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Pleasant Home ended up a good deal behind Florala when the teams last played back in December of 2023, losing 41-23. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Florala's Kyndra Anthony, who posted 17 points in addition to eight steals and seven boards.
