Football Game Preview: Ardsley Panthers vs. Valhalla Vikings

The Ardsley Panthers will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Valhalla Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Saturday. Ardsley took down Pleasantville 31-14.

Meanwhile, the third road contest was the charm for Valhalla, as they earned their first away win of the season. They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 42-2 victory over Edgemont. With the Vikings ahead 28-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

The win got Ardsley back to even at 2-2. As for Valhalla, the victory also got them back to even at 2-2.

Everything went Ardsley's way against Valhalla in their previous meeting back in September of 2017, as Ardsley made off with a 31-7 win. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
