Meanwhile, Olympian hadn't done well against Mater Dei Catholic recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Olympian came out on top against Mater Dei Catholic by a score of 49-40. The 49-point effort marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Olympian's win came from a few key players San Diego will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jordan Walker, who went 8 of 12 on his way to 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Anderson, who went 8 for 18 en route to 18 points and five steals.

Olympian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-2 record this season. As for San Diego, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 18-4.

Things could have been worse for San Diego, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 75-61 loss to Olympian in their previous matchup two weeks ago.
