Mason Nelson, Mesa Verde's leader in stolen bases on the season, led the team again on Tuesday. Nelson wasn't messing around, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. The match was his fourth straight with at least one stolen base.

Nelson's strong effort led Mesa Verde over Highlands and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
