Recap: Christian Community Colts vs. Pleasant View Christian Warriors
The Christian Community Colts have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 27 points or more this season. They really took it to Pleasant View Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 54-22 win at home. The win was familiar territory for Christian Community who now have four in a row.
Christian Community found their leader in underclassman A.C. Caverly, who scored 16 points. The matchup was Caverly's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Alexis Myers was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Pleasant View Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Hollynn Carney, who scored nine points, and Gwen Carr who scored ten points. Carr scored a full 45.5% of Pleasant View Christian's points, the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Christian Community has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Pleasant View Christian, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Christian Community will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Greenbrier on December 28th. Pleasant View Christian and Clarksville Christian will face off at 6:00 p.m. on December 18th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. One thing working in Clarksville Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matches.
