Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stoneham). They blew past the Lexington Minutemen 8-2 on Wednesday. The Spartans not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 24, 2024 (when they won 9-3).

The victory snapped Stoneham's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-8 record. As for Lexington, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Coming up, Stoneham will host Belmont at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Lexington, they will head out to challenge Wakefield Memorial at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Minutemen's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
