Basketball Recap: Jacire Eaddy's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Shaker Heights over Brunswick

Shaker Heights came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Brunswick Blue Devils, falling 69-43. The loss continues a trend for the Red Raiders in their meetings with the Blue Devils: they've now lost four in a row.

Shaker Heights lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jacire Eaddy, who went 7-for-12 on his way to 17 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Quinn Coggins, who posted eight points and six rebounds.

Shaker Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Brunswick, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.
