Softball Recap: Tipton-Rosemark Academy Wins Going Away Against Briarcrest Christian

While Tipton-Rosemark Academy put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Briarcrest Christian. Tipton-Rosemark Academy was the clear victor by a 16-0 margin over Briarcrest Christian. The Rebels have beaten the Saints the last nine times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Saints has come to flipping the script.

Emma Ursery made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Addie Thorpe, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, five RBI, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Anniston Glass, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy's record is now 8-5. As for Briarcrest Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
