Soccer Recap: Oglethorpe County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Jefferson County last Tuesday, Oglethorpe County came back down to earth. The Oglethorpe County Patriots came up short against the Hart County Bulldogs on Friday, falling 4-1. The Patriots were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Oglethorpe County's goal came courtesy of Miguel Rios, who's now up to nine this season.

Oglethorpe County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Hart County, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oglethorpe County will face off against Commerce at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oglethorpe County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.2 goals per game this season. As for Hart County, they will square off against Crescent at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
