Game recap: Bradley-Bourbonnais High School Football Team tops Pekin

PEKIN, Ill. - Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, Ill.) saw its 17-point lead dwindle to four, but still managed to hang on and defeat Pekin (Ill.) 24-20 on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a Chase Poole touchdown pass to Cole Henderson, the Dragons went into halftime with a 7-3 lead. The Boilermakers took the lead for good with a touchdown pass by Gionte Mason to Jarrod Ware in the third quarter.

The defeat comes as a step back for Pekin, which notched a 28-14 victory over Dunlap in its previous outing. The loss broke Pekin's three-game winning streak.
