Soccer Game Preview: Haslett vs. Sturgis

The Haslett Vikings will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Sturgis Trojans at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Sturgis took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Haslett, who comes in off a win.

Haslett had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the three-goal drubbing they dealt Eaton Rapids on Friday. The Vikings put the hurt on the Greyhounds with a sharp 4-1 win. Four seems to be a good number for Haslett as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Sturgis was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They fell just short of Harper Creek by a score of 1-0.

Sturgis now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Haslett, their win bumped their record up to 3-0-1.
