Baseball Recap: Southeast Takes a Loss

Southeast came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Indian Rocks Christian Eagles, falling 18-3.

Aiden Taflinger made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That run was his first of the season.

Southeast's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Indian Rocks Christian, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.

Southeast has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 loss against Bell Creek Academy on the 26th. As for Indian Rocks Christian, they will welcome Seminole at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Seminole will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Indian Rocks Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
