Basketball Recap: Schuyler County Finds Home Court Redemption Against Atlanta

There's no place like home for Schuyler County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Atlanta Hornets out 47-45. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Rams' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 329th, while the Hornets are ranked 97th).

Schuyler County's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Atlanta, their defeat ended an 11-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 9-1.

Schuyler County will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Scotland County at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th. Atlanta has already played their next contest (against Putnam County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
